Meet Michelle

I am one of the proud co-founders of The Golden Bee Holistic Center and one of our featured artists.  In addition to managing our Gifts For The Soul retail space, I offer individual and group sessions in which I integrate three of my passions:  Reiki, Hypnotherapy and Transformative Art Process. 

One of my greatest joys in life is assisting and witnessing the unfolding of the creative process in others.

If you chose to work with me, I  will view our time together as sacred. My commitments to you:

 

  • I will be present and create a safe, confidential and trauma-informed container for us to work together.​

  • I will tailor each session to meet your individual needs and process.

  • My goal is to provide you an experience to meet your needs in the most effective and efficient way possible.​

  • Although the structure of the process is the same for each client, the content is individualized  for you. Generic scripts and standardized protocol are never  used.

During our time together, I will draw from over thirty years of personal, creative and spiritual exploration. My academic background and training reflect my spiritual growth, practice and process. My passions range from transformational art process, comparative religion, ancient wisdom and Goddess traditions, Jungian psychology, archetypal knowledge, dream study and dream work, mythology, folklore and symbolism.

My Personal Process

In August 2011, I was engaged in a 30-day Qigong healing process. One of my primary intents was to unearth my creative process that had felt distant to nonexistent from being shrouded in grief for many years. To honor this healing, I committed to creating a daily collage for the 30 days.

Those 30 days turned into a daily practice that spanned nearly seven years. Experiencing another loss in June 2018, I stopped this practice. I recently began creating consistently again in September 2019.

My process was and continues to be simple: to set aside 15-30 minutes to complete a collage. It is my sacred meditation and I create from that silent place devoid of thought.

​

My collages are akin to dreams.  Each collage is a story of that moment in time and is at once both personal and collective. And as a dream, each of you will see something different and respond in your own unique way. Even my response to my own work changes over time.
